Who are we?

We are IcyKing, the Proven voice of reason when it comes to the tastiest dessert of the season. We pop the top on pints, quarts, and gallons for you buy to let you know if it’s worth a try! We’ve been buying and eating ice cream our entire lives and bring a well-detailed, honest, and insightful review of THOUSANDS of Ice Cream brands and flavors. We don’t get compensated by corporations to swing our reviews to favor their flavor. We. Serve. YOU!

What do we do?

Every week, we enter our local grocery stores and buy a new ice cream to try and review. These ice creams will go through extensive testing (and tasting) amongst our IcyKing review team. Once we complete our tests, we provide our ratings in the following categories:

• Taste (Does it bring you back to simpler times, or send you into a deep state of regret and shame)
• Concentration of Ingredients (How often added toppings appear per spoon capita)
• Creaminess (Is it too thick, or too runny)
• Appearance (Does it even look tasty, or does it look too tasty)
• Would you buy it again

With our advanced numerical-average rating system, we take complicated information and present it in an easy-to-peasy format for your chewing pleasure. Our IcyKing reviewers also give some final thoughts that are truly the perverbial cherry on top.

Why we do this?

There are many schools of thought when it comes to ice cream. Is it just a simple dessert to have once in a while after a lovely dinner, or maybe a wonderful treat to cool us down in the summer heat? (Popsicles are for the birds!) We’ve been (freezer) burned too many times on low-quality, no-love ice cream and have churned for a better way. We care WAY too much about ice cream, but let our passion guide you unto a better tomorrow. We believe we can help our IcyKingdom one spoon (or pint) at a time.
